Acrylic nail extensions!!?

A question on acrylic nail extensions please.?


Hi do the monomer and acrylic powder have to be of the same name for them to work good with eachother? ..a and also.. do you know what ingredient in certain acrylic powders is harmful ?

acrylic nails are not damaging if done right. i am a manicurist and yeah... my real nails are destroyed. but that's because i rip my nails off every other week and start over. a lot of the less expensive salons add all kinds of nonsense to the powder, like dental porcelain, so that it sticks better to the natural nail. if you soak acrylics off then there's no damage done. i honestly never knew how good your natural nail could look after acrylics until i started doing nails.

Acyrilic nails are very damaging to the natural nail. I once had fake nails and it took forver to get my natural nails into good condition. I am letting my natural nails grow and it's nice. Fake nails are expensive and damaging.
