Advice on nail extensions ?

i mean the ones where they go onto the end of the nail, not the fake nails that cover the whole nail,

what type are better, gel or acrylic ?

how long do they last ?

any other info that will be useful ?

thanksAdvice on nail extensions ?
I've never tried gel nails, but they're more expensive so I assume they're better quality. I have, however, used acrylic and they last for a while but you need a ';fill-in'; every two weeks. Fake nails are a good way to accumulate bacteria though. You would have to REALLY take care of them. And wash your hands A LOT! And if you want them off, it's best to go to the shop to get them removed because you could damage your nail if you do it yourself %26amp; if you DO happen to do it sucessfully, they leave ugly marks, lines, and crack on your real nails.Advice on nail extensions ?
The extension part is the same, the coating on top is either gel or acrylic. Gel is a lot stronger but also more expensive. They should last until they grow out naturally tho you will have to get the base filled in at least every 2 weeks.
gel is less abrasive but are easier to chip and may require more repairs for chiped nails. personally i don't suggest getting either, because they harm your nail beds, but the gel is the lesser of the two evils. :o)
