Im practising nail extensions but can't get the acrylic & monomer right its to wet it just runs off nail?help

acrylic is to wet to push into place once on the nail, it just runs onto the side off the finger, need some tips on getting just enough liquid and acrylic to be able to put it on the nail and it just sit there so i can push it into place.. thanksIm practising nail extensions but can't get the acrylic %26amp; monomer right its to wet it just runs off nail?help
