Best in my books is natural nails of any length. I have tried the kits from the drug store, with tips and an acrylic gel to bond over the nail, but they are very difficult to apply, and don't turn out as well as nails applied at a salon. Even if you get nails put on at a salon, you can apply nail polish to them yourself later, if you want.
